“How an ‘Average Joe’ From Nebraska Went From Zero to $12 Million Dollars in Five Short Years”

Guru: Jeremy Schoemaker
Jeremy Schoemaker, aka Shoemoney, is the founder of ShoeMoney Media Group and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities in the world when it comes to traffic monetization and affiliate marketing. He also operates one of the most popular blogs online, ShoeMoney.com, which is ranked in the Top 100 on Technorati.
Jeremy first got his start online making Macintosh gaming sites while he was in college. After working for three different Internet service providers and numerous banks in the I.T. department, he found himself on unemployment and without much income. Determined never to work for “the man” again, he decided to make the break and created ShoeMoney Media Group.
He was able to build NextPimp.com, a ringtone community site of over 60,000 paying members which generates over $2.7 million per year. That same site was also responsible for the legendary six-figure AdSense check featured on his blog.
In 2007, along with his business partner David Dellanave, they launched a revolutionary eBay affiliate marketing service that serves eBay auction ads on contextually relevant sites, which won an eBay Star Developer Award. It was later bought out by MediaWhizz.
Jeremy is also a frequent speaker at search marketing and affiliate marketing conferences. He is also the co-founder of the Elite Retreat conference.
He currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
